Signmark: Breaking Walls for the Deaf

This interview is in ASL without Captioning. For those who desire spoken language access, I also videotaped his speech at his "Silent Shout" where he provided a similar message with voice interpreting:

Signmark's Silent Shout: Breaking Walls for the Deaf
Submitted by brein on Mon, 2012-05-07 12:40Signmark, the International Deaf rapper from Finland, came to the University of Minnesota on May 2nd to perform a "Silent Shout" with the aim of bringing people together, Deaf and Hearing.
He provided a synopis of the message of his music and the 'Silent Shout' and a free public participatory music event.
The speech was voice interpreted for those who need spoken language access.
Deaf Hope Offices reopened
Submitted by brein on Sat, 2012-05-05 17:26DeafHope, the Oakland, California based Nonprofit providing domestic and sexual violence survivor and prevention services, just reopened their offices after they were forced to close it last year ago due to smoke damage from a fire.
They now have to restore normal office operations, and are asking for donations to help restore everything to normal operations.
