To Gallaudetians and Friends,

I was a former Gallaudet University student about to start my second year in college. Before I get to the crux of this letter, I’d like to describe my first year at the university, which was phenomenal. I became involved with many events and organizations such as the Class of 2009, of which I was president. I also spent my extra time with the Student Body Government, working with the Director of Student Affairs and serving as a sergeant-of-arms at Student Congress meetings. As you can see, I have benefited greatly from my first year at Gallaudet, and tried to contribute back to the community.
