I support democract people forever. But oh please. Wrong people on blogs. Ryan Commerson and Taureen Burt sure give bad example here. They both was very wrong when they protest and boycott at Michigan School for the Deaf and telling all students at MSD it is ok to skip classes and boycott and all the students ended up serious suspension and Ryan didnt get anything what he wanted. He just want make himself famous by using everyone and making documentary for himself in future. He has been kicked out at Gally more than once and kept coming back and causing more trouble. I will never support Ryan nor Taureen Burt (his followers). Please replace him with another person with excellent background and much better role model.

It may be true that John McCain resigned because of his friendship with Pres. Jordan and lack of information he have on Gallaudet. Did he attend any BOT meetings at time of the Gallaudet protests. ? He focus on his presidential campgain. He did not want to get involved in the controversy .

PLs do not forgot that Hillary Clinton admitted that she voted for Iraq without National Intelligence report on Iraq which she had access to in 2003 It is more serious matter Than Galllaudet Protest.

As a full fledged member of DEMOCRATS ABROAD.. I can tell u as a member of the "new 51st state" there may be a very very very small group of people who will even consider Mc Cain as a canidate of our great country..I would not even trust my dog with Mc Cain, this man has shown the deaf community that he is a quitter.. maybe that is not the correct word to use but for the lack of better word.
There are over 100,000 American voters abroad who have voted on line, this year we are called THE NEW 51ST STATE and I am proud to announce I was able to vote on Super Tuesday in Amsterdam this year,, there were hundreds of Democrats who showed up for the big rally we had,, I was lucky to have an ASL interpreter there and was able to follow what was going on,, Mc Cain has lost alot of republican votes, most have gone over to the Democrat's side , cos they are " AFRAID" to have that man in office. That was just the general idea or feeling we got when some Republicans were talking ..
What Mc Cain did during the Gally protest was unforgivable and i agree with the vlogger, he had the staff, he had the means, he could have gone down and hung out with the protestors, and hung out in Tent City to get the nitty gritty, but nooooooooooo.. it got too"hot" for him so he tucked his tail between his legs and left,, a cowards way out,,, or how did they say it back in the 60's a cop out,,,so basically I can only say hes a wuss. I am appauld to what John McCain has been involved with BOTs during our Protest againist Jane Ferndales. I do not support Jane Ferndale during her as Provost at the time. She didnt do good job for our Deaf Community. Back to the point of McCain. He does not understand our Deaf Community Needed of use as such as ASL, Sign Language visually, Education, and others. He does not understand our Deaf Culture of Disverity. He does not understand why we are againist Jane Ferndales. John McCain dont understand what we need ASL/Cultiure are very cherish to us. Even though, job are very hard to come by due our Deafness cause by Audism as well. I know one thing He will win the Primary as well but I would not vote for him. I only tell you Obama is the one who can help us because he mention about disability but not mention as DEAF but disability so I am assumed that he does support Deaf as disability. I know one thing we dont label us ourselves as Disability not like other disabilities. We are just Deaf and Hard of Hearing, not Disabilty but I would support Obama for President. Hillary Clinton is out of question. I vote for Ron Paul. He will restore our U.S. Constitution. So that we can be liberty for all Americans. He will abolish Federal Income Tax. He is honest. Most news media hate him. I don't like John McCain for long time because I remembered maybe 5 or 6 years ago, he said that something about Deaf or sign language is not recommendation for something which I was upset with his decision that's why I don't like him since...

McCain made the only right decision when he resigned from the Gallaudet Board in protest of the decision to rescind Jane K. Fernandes' appointment. He relied upon a thorough investigation by his staff and numerous letters, emails, communications received from Fernandes' supporters. RC, you are operating under a mistaken impression that most deaf people agree with you. In fact, you are in the extreme minority of deaf people. Remember IKJ's "extremists"? You are one of them. Less that a half million people use ASL in the United States and Canada. And not even all of them agree with you. Gallaudet's role as an international mecca has been irrevocably damaged by the protest. It will take years and billions of dollars to restore it, if it ever can be. If anyone can do it, John McCain as president of the United States, can! Go McCain.
