Kate- thanks for the time and effort you are doing to spread the awareness about HR 3101.
For those who claim Purple is "all that" including advocating for HR 3101, please show proof AND chill out with the extra efforts on sugarcoating all of your BS. (pardon my language but it was necessary for me to use it this time)
We have serious challenges ahead of us and we do not need certain VRS businesses to take advantage of this time to claim that they're "the one" especially when the deaf community is going through the process of learning about the practices that occurred within the VRS industry. If you are "the one" we will figure it out ourselves.

As far as I know, only Purple among relay providers, have been active in supporting deaf rights by supporting 3101. http://www.purple.us/blog/2009/10/find-out-why-coat-bill-is-important/
If I am wrong, I would love to see information from other providers active on 3101?

Thank you, Kate, for your advocacy and for making this vlog about H.R. 3101. The NAD co-founded the Coalition of Organizations for Accessible Technology (COAT) and is a member of the COAT steering committee. We are working hard to get H.R. 3101 passed, participating in COAT activities, meeting with industry representatives, and briefing congressional staff. Many state associations are also COAT affiliates advocating for H.R. 3101. This bill will help ensure and improve access to the telephone network and television programs that use digital and Internet technologies.
For more information about H.R. 3101, visit www.COATaccess.org. Summary of H.R. 3101 is at http://www.coataccess.org/node/4624. New "Advocate's Toolkit" is at http://www.coataccess.org/node/5533. Please continue contacting your Representatives for their support and to co-sponsor H.R. 3101.
Thanks again, Kate.

You're most welcome!! It is frightening that a number of sub-committee members and industry reps are reluctant about this. 1990 for TV captions redux :(
