Comment on the future of deaf education.

Richard Roehm

We still have to oversee Gallaudet after BOT Chair resigned

We still strive for empowerment of social justice.

Thanks

Hi, I want to thank you for doing this ASL transitation. I feel the same way with our Deaf school. There are so much control. Yeah, we need to confront and solve these issues. Time for change in Deaf school and Gallaudet Univeristy!!!! Again, thank you so much for translating! Smiles, Donna

i wanted to tell Edna that

i wanted to tell Edna that she did good job on ASL translation. I d like to see more ASL translation so other ASL signers can get access equally.

Will BOT still do clouting on us?

My concern is that Chair of BOT is still there as dominant audism that will affect the BOT. Will she still doing clouting on us again and again? I do not want to see any reproduction (the same cycle)in Gallaudet. We need social justice for our dialecticism (breaking through reproduction). Will there polluting audism ideology on us from BOT?
We need to change as we need to clean "underneath the rug" to resolve many issues that are hostile to our empowerment of education for many years.
Yes, we are entering into a new chapter but we must be cautious.
